Farmers Teaching Farmers AG/HORT Series

This series highlights farmers and their craft in the field of horticulture and agriculture. The idea behind the series is to help promote and showcase farmers who are doing innovative best practices in the field of agriculture and horticulture. I work with Nepali farmers and turn their work into laminated (front and back) education tutorials. These tutorials showcase the farmers’ work and at the same time teach other farmers. My role as a Peace Corps Volunteer and educator is to be a positive enabler for those around me. I want people who are doing innovative things to have a voice and to feel that their work is appreciated. This series gives me the opportunity to help showcase and promote my farmers’ work and help introduce their success stories to others.
